Memorial Day Weekend Fun

This weekend was jammed packed with things to do. Boog came home for the weekend so we spent as much time with him as we could. It all started off with a Friday golf day (except the Ross house was the kid sitter location). It was fun though, Luke got his first experience with sharing his stuff (we need to work on that one). Bella and Luke played, ate, and bathed. Then it was off to bed for them. I'm glad now that I didnt' have twins! Way to much work.

Saturday, we had fun at Grandma and Grandpa Ross's house. A few friends came by, and we all hung out by the poolside. Then we had to go to a birthday party for a friend at the Wine House in Eureka (which is really nice). It was fun, but hot. Then we went to Mikey Branson's house to watch the fight. Luke was a trooper. Me on the other hand, I feel asleep in the recliner as soon as Luke went out. That 6 am wake up call by Luke was way to early for me.

Then on Sunday, Luke and I went shopping for his soon-to-be Aunt Whisee's wedding shower. Boy, I love Kohls. But I think Luke will be more like his dad than I'll ever know. When I go to stores that I like he gets mad quickly, but when we go to stores that his dad likes he's happy as a clam. I have a feeling Bass Pro will be a frequented store for him. Then, we spent the day at his Grandma and Grandpa Ross's house. We all played outside (including Bubba and Otis) until we got to hot. Then it was time for a swim in the pool. It was so much fun to watch Luke swimming (splashing really) in the water. I swear he's part fish. After that we had to go in because the mosquitos were starting to carry Luke away. Luckly, he only had about 7 bites (to bad they're all on his face)!

We Have A Crawler Folks!

Greg and I were starting to get a little worried that Luke may never get the urge to crawl. However, this morning he proved us wrong. He was sitting on he floor, playing with his toys, when all of a sudden he takes off across the living room floor. I was amazed (and still somewhat asleep). I scrambled for my camera, but when Luke sees the camera he stops. He loves to smile and laugh for the camera, but thats it. So all day I've been like a lion waiting to pounce. Finally, this afternoon I caught a little bit on camera, but it wasn't as good as the others. Sorry mom. Oh, and he started pulling himself up using the couch, coffee table, me, Otis, you name it he uses it.

A Hole-n-One (Someday)

Yes, we spend a lot of time on the golf course. We're hoping that it will wear off on Luke. Greg would like to see him play golf at Stanford, and then on to the PGA. For now though he'll settle for Wolf Hollow. I'm not sure yet who has more fun on the course Greg or Luke.

Rainy Day Fashion Parade

The weather outside today is horrible. It's cold, rainy, and miserable. So, since we had to stay in today I decided to have a little fashion show with Luke. I was really cleaning out his room, and I found there were things that he hadn't gotten a chance to wear yet. I wanted to see what they looked like on him. So here's our little wardrobe show. Enjoy!

Golf Anyone?

The weather was so nice today that we had to get Luke's golf clubs out. I think he has decided that it's much easier to just throw the balls and whack people (or anything else) with the clubs.

We know that Grandma checks this before she goes to bed, so "Night Night Grandma and Grandpa" from Luke!
