Sorry for the Interruption

Wow, has it ben almost 1 full year since my last post. YIKES. Sorry Susie and mom (I think you are the only 2 people that read these silly posts). The kiddos have been keeping us very busy. Now that everyone is growing so fast, it seems like it's harder and harder to stop and share. Luke is loving preschool. He is gearing up for Kindergarten in the fall, and Laura bug is getting ready for preschool. Abby on the other hand informed me that she will NOT be going to school. She only wants to go work with her PeePaw everyday in his barn, and if I could please pack them both a lunch.

Here are some of the kiddo's highlights since I have last posted

It's Sports Time!

Well Greg and I have officially been put on the sidelines as spectators! This is very different for the both of us. Luke has started playing. We put him in soccer. It seemed to pass the time for him, but he didn't really enjoy soccer. Now, it's baseball time. I have to say he is loving it. The coaches asked if any parents wanted to come out and help. Of course I volunteered Greg. He didn't mind because it made Luke comfortable. He was a mad man on the field, grabbing balls, throwing them to first, and hitting homeruns. He had a blast.

Just Keep Swimming

Luke and Laura are back at their swimming lessons. I decided to put them in the same class. It w=has turned out OK so far. Laura is my little bubble guppy swimmer. She just takes off and does her own thing. Luke is the non trusting swimmer. Miss Amanda is so patient and kind, and Luke uses that to his advantage. If he doesn't want to do it, he tells her no and then talks to her the whole time. He does try, but he doesn't seem to care about swimming. He just wants to get to the basketball court at the end of the lesson (which does make this momma happy). We practice dribbling. Then we move onto passing (something his daddy never did), and finally we go to the little kids baskets and practice shooting. He makes most of them, and I LOVE IT! Laura and Abby just enjoy running after the balls on the court. Fun times at the Y.

Abby Turns 2!

It has been awhile since my last post. The holidays FLEW by, and then the flu bug came in. It hit us all, but thankfully quickly. Then it was Abby's 2nd birthday. Wow time flies. We had a small little family party for her. It was so fun to watch her, and all the kids. It was fun adult time don't get me wrong, but watching all the Toosley/Ross kids growing up together is priceless. I can tell the years to come will only be more interesting. Standing back watching it all, I think I finally understand the saying "My cup runneth over".

Enjoying the Weather

I am loving this weather, and so are the kiddos! We are having so much fun bouncing around from Gma's, Grammys, and our own house. The days seem to short to pack in all the fun.

This is one of my favorite pictures of all time. It's true what they say like father like son!

I still can't believe that my little Laura bug has turned 3, but I guess I can't stop time (if I could I would). She has become such a high maintenance, fun loving, out spoken, energetic, smart, and beautiful little girl. She makes me laugh and pull my hair out everyday, but I wouldn't have it any other way. She has her daddy wrapped around her finger, and he doesn't even know it. I asked Laura what she wanted to do on her birthday. She gave me her favorite places as the animal zoom, McDonalds, Gma & GPa's house, Grammy and Paw Paw's house, and Wal-Mart. So Laura bug decided on her birthday we would go to Purina Farms (or as she likes to call it, the animal zoom). Believe it or not we spent a good 3 hours there, running through hay bales, playing in corn, milking a cow, petting the bunnies and piggies, admiring all the animals, and then starring in the dog show. I have never laughed so hard then to hear her responses to the show guy about her own dog, Otis. In her words Otis is "big, smelly, and eats her food". Luke jammed out to the music, and Abby just wanted to take a puppy home. Then as we ended our farm trip, Laura decided that we all needed McDonalds for her birthday lunch. We took her lunch to the park and played a little there, but it started to get a little warm. Then we headed home for a much needed nap. When she got up, her daddy was home, and the house was decorated for her birthday. She ran over and wanted her birthday song and cake. So we all sang to her and enjoyed our cake and ice cream. Then she went straight to the presents. Her dad put together her bike, so she could put on her helmet and ride. Then we headed to Grammy and Paw Paw's house where Grammy had another birthday party waiting for her. Fortunately it was late and time for bed afterwards. Then on Sunday she got a surprise visit from her bestie Susie, and opened up more of her favorite My Little Ponies (which we watched in the car numerous times all the way home). To top off her weekend she got to have her big family birthday party at Chuck e Cheese. She had so much fun with her Gma and Gpa, Uncle Nate, Aunt Trish, Carson, Brady, Aunt Ashley, Grammy, Paw Paw, Uncle Dan, Aunt Whit, and McKenna. She was so spent that we brought all the kiddos in from the car, and straight to bed. Wow what a way to spend your birthday weekend

Fall Fun at Gma's House

The kids had a blast at Gma's yesterday. The weather was absolutely PERFECT. The kids ran, jumped, and rode horsed until they were dead tired. It was a great day.
