It's Sports Time!

Well Greg and I have officially been put on the sidelines as spectators! This is very different for the both of us. Luke has started playing. We put him in soccer. It seemed to pass the time for him, but he didn't really enjoy soccer. Now, it's baseball time. I have to say he is loving it. The coaches asked if any parents wanted to come out and help. Of course I volunteered Greg. He didn't mind because it made Luke comfortable. He was a mad man on the field, grabbing balls, throwing them to first, and hitting homeruns. He had a blast.

Just Keep Swimming

Luke and Laura are back at their swimming lessons. I decided to put them in the same class. It w=has turned out OK so far. Laura is my little bubble guppy swimmer. She just takes off and does her own thing. Luke is the non trusting swimmer. Miss Amanda is so patient and kind, and Luke uses that to his advantage. If he doesn't want to do it, he tells her no and then talks to her the whole time. He does try, but he doesn't seem to care about swimming. He just wants to get to the basketball court at the end of the lesson (which does make this momma happy). We practice dribbling. Then we move onto passing (something his daddy never did), and finally we go to the little kids baskets and practice shooting. He makes most of them, and I LOVE IT! Laura and Abby just enjoy running after the balls on the court. Fun times at the Y.

Abby Turns 2!

It has been awhile since my last post. The holidays FLEW by, and then the flu bug came in. It hit us all, but thankfully quickly. Then it was Abby's 2nd birthday. Wow time flies. We had a small little family party for her. It was so fun to watch her, and all the kids. It was fun adult time don't get me wrong, but watching all the Toosley/Ross kids growing up together is priceless. I can tell the years to come will only be more interesting. Standing back watching it all, I think I finally understand the saying "My cup runneth over".
