Whirlwind Weekend

This weekend was full of fun and go, go, go. On Saturday, we helped Brady celebrate his first birthday. Luke ran around with the other kiddos, and really enjoyed the whale pool. Laura pretty much just watched everyone enjoy the pool. She did enjoy the swing, and the ice cream. Then on Sunday we celebrated Father's Day with 3 great Ross dads. Ken enjoyed everyone spending time around the pool and b-b-queing, and Nate and Greg hung out with all the kiddos too. It really was a fun time. However, Luke spent so much time outside and in the pool he didn't feel so hot that night.

We have been very busy lately. I can't really tell you what we were busy doing, but I think we had a lot of fun. Lately, if we're not around here we've spent alot of time visiting Fulton. We are doing our best to stay out of the summer heat, but the Ross family has to be outside. If not no one is happy. So we are making small attempts to play outside while the weather is so miserable. Luke enjoys his playgound set and playhouse (thank god for craigslist and yard sales). Laura really only has the option of scooting around in her jeep. I'm hoping to get their swings up soon so we can hide in the shade with those.
