One Year and Walking all over!

Luke is so close to turning one, it's scary. I can't believe how fast that went by. Now, he's walking all over. He's still a little wobbly, but he makes it from point A to point B. He makes us laugh to see him kind of walk run from place to place. He's bit the floor a lot, but he just gets up and keeps going. My little boy's growing like a weed (and I'm not sure I want him to).

His one year pictures were fun. I decided to take him to the picture place in Babies R Us (just because I had a bunch of coupons and I won some free stuff). When we get there Luke starts laughing and trying to run away from the camera lady. When we finally get him settled down, he starts laughing again and throwing the blocks at the camera lady. He was being so loud that we drew a little crowd outside of the place. He didn't care. He kept hamming it up for the camera, and mommy got suckered into to many pictures.

My LIttle Helper

Now that Lukie is all over the place, it seems that he's into EVERYTHING! Nothing is safe anymore or private. No matter where you are (even the bathroom) he will crawl right on in to see what you're up to. He takes everything down that he can reach, and tortures poor Otis! Life for all us is fast moving because he's ALWAYS on the go. Today he unfolded all the laundry that I had just folded. He took all the pillows off the couches (everytime I put them back), and decided to pick up all the dust bunnies that were roaming on the floor. He's such a GREAT helper, and if you can't hear the sarcasm in that I'm laying it on pretty thick. What happened to the old days where I could get some work done during the day. He's a mess, but I can't help but laugh because he always looks at me and says MAMA and then smiles. I'm doomed he already has my number.
