I have decided to create this blog due to the new edition to our family. I was inspired by my sister-in-law Trish's awesome blogs of Carson's life, so I decided to give it a try. Lucas Paul Ross was born on July 7th. He was 7 lbs 7 ozs. He is also the 7th great grandchild on Greg's side. I am hoping that this is a sign that he is going to have Greg's good luck! I never realized how different parent life was going to be. I am not complaining because spending time with Luke is great. I guess it's just weird how those little things I use to do really don't matter much to me anymore. I do worry about Otis though (our 1 year old Great Dane). He has become a 2nd class citizen with the arrival of Luke. He's still not sure about him, but he's great at alerting me when diapers need changing! Greg is adjusting well too. I think he's more excited to see him when becomes more active. Right now he only sleeps (during the daytime), eats, and poops!
