Ross July Update

Luke and Laura enjoy playing in thier playhut together.

Luke settles for bath time instead of swim time.

Laura watches her cartoons in Luke's Elmo chair.

I really don't have an excuse for not updating this any sooner. The weather has been so terribly hot lately that we haven't done a whole lot here at the Ross home. Luke has been riding his new 4 wheeler in the house, and we've been taking late night walks with the wagon. Other than that not a whole lot. All indoor activities. It seems that his favorite indoor activity right now is watching cartoons in our room and jumping on the bed. Laura enjoys that too. Her new big thing now is climbing. I had to dig her out of the fireplace once. She also likes to climb up on the furniture. She's fearless (and covered with brusies).

Luke played so hard, he crashed on the couch mid cartoon!

Lukie Turns 2!

Luke watched fireworks with he girlfriend Bella

Luke's birthday weeklong celebration (yes I said weeklong. I didn't get weeklong birthdays until I became a Ross) was so fun. Grandma Linda threw a huge birthday 4th of July bash on Sunday. It was so much fun. We had so many friends and family there to help us celebrate. Then on Monday, Luke got to sit and watch fireworks with his girlfriend Bella Branson. Wednesday, we took a long wagon ride around Labadie, and yest we stopped for ice cream at the general store. Finally, today (on Luke's actual birthday) we went to the zoo. Luke is still a little to young to really understand what is going on. I think his favorite was the hippo. Then we ended the night with some ice cream and dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Ross. I don't know about Luke but mommy is pooped! I can't believe my little boy is 2 already. Time flys. It was funny to think that 2 years ago Greg and I went to the zoo to walk around, and Luke was born later that day. Funny.

Luke really liked the hippo when he came extra close
